OUTREACH MINISTRY
We strive to serve Jesus in outreach and to see all as our brothers and sisters. We reach out to assist those in need both within our community and beyond our community. Among the ways we choose to do this are:
PRISM (People Responding in Social Ministry)
LOCAL MISSION One area of local mission vital to our church’s ministry to reach those in special need is PRISM (People Responding in Social Ministry). Services offered range from food, clothing, financial assistance, counseling, transportation and much more. Consider how you and our church might become more involved as the needs of others continue to grow.
Loaves and Fishes
Volunteers from St. Margaret Mary cook and serve a meal for the homeless in Minneapolis on the third Thursday of each month from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
Dinner At Your Door
Volunteers pick up hot meals at North Memorial Hospital or Calvary Lutheran Church and deliver them to the homebound in the community.. This takes about an hour on the first Friday and third Monday of the month.
Taking Food, Clothing and Household items to Prism
St. Margaret Mary works and supports PRISM (People Responding in Social Ministry). At this time please take donations directly to PRISM.
